Chicago, IL – December 19, 2013. The Filipino American Community Health Initiative of Chicago (FACHIC) is organizing a family friendly fundraiser for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. The event will be held on Saturday, December 28th from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the Purple Monkey Playroom, 2040 N. Western Ave, Chicago, Illinois. Cost is $10 for children and $5 for adults.

There will be a feature performance by Chicago children’s singer Little Miss Ann. Purple Monkey Playroom is an indoor playspace aimed for children age 6 weeks to 6 years old. Both Little Miss Ann and Purple Monkey Playroom have donated their services for this event. Free parking is available and healthy snacks will be provided.
