FACHIC is a proud cosponsor of the 2010 Passport to the Philippines.

Chicago, IL

The Passport to the Philippines Committee at the Chicago Children’s Museum is sponsoring a postcard design contest for local students.

Currently enrolled students, from grades 4 – 12, are eligible to submit an entry form and an original postcard artwork.  The aim is to encourage students to express their artistic interpretation of their favorite sites, arts, culture, and history of the Philippines.

The deadline for submission is April 18, 2010.

The contest requires an original artwork to be used on the front of the postcard with minimum dimensions of 3 ½” x 5”, maximum of 4 ¼” x 6”.

The postcard design will be used in postcard mailing to invite families in the celebration of the Philippine Week at the Chicago Children’s Museum on June 10, Thursday; June 12 Saturday, and June 13, Sunday, 2010.

Three award winners will be chosen by a panel of postcard design committee.  Winners will receive gift cards to local merchants as well as a family museum pass (up to eight guests) free admission to the Chicago Children’s Museum.

The postcard contest is sponsored by the Passport to the Philippines Committee and its sponsoring organizations.
