Chicago, IL - May 29, 2011. The Filipino American Community Health Initiative of Chicago (FACHIC) is actively seeking a volunteer Program Coordinator for its 2011 Parol Program. This is a non-paid position and candidates are expected to work two to six hours per week. Applicants should be individuals willing to share FACHIC’s mission of serving the Filipino community and ideally have an interest in working with seniors. Background and interest in working in community health or social work is helpful. Volunteer position to begin August 2011.

The Parol Program was established in 2009 to address the needs of seniors in the Filipino community during the holidays.
