Call for Social Work Volunteers

FACHIC is in search of volunteers with social work or casework backgrounds as well as social work students to help staff regular social work clinics in the Filipino community.  While the majority of our organization has a Filipino background, we are looking for volunteers with a general interest in working with a moderately sized community within an urban and suburban environment encountering issues such as access to housing, medical care, entitlements, counseling, and family support.  All volunteers will be coordinated and supervised by a licensed clinical social worker.  Please do not hesitate to contact us or pass along our information to any contacts who may be interested and we would be happy to answer any questions that you or they may have.
